    Default P0304 help

    Just had my car plugged in to a snap on code reader and got code p0304 cylinder 4 misfiring!

    What's the fix for it?

    Engine : Z18XER

    What engine if its petrol spark plug or coilpack. Try swapping plug with no. 3 if still the same coilpack if fault moves to 3 plug

    Oops it's a 2.2 direct petrol. Just over 101000 miles.

    Try Trouty's idea, the code generally means it's either the coil or spark plug on it's way out. Clear the faults and try it again to see if it comes back cos it may likely be a historic code from aaaaaages ago and might not be flashing up now

    I'm not able to clear the codes as I used a local garages code reader!
    They said that it deffo has misfire before plugging if in!

    How much is a new/second hand coil pack?
