Are you referring to the flickering when the lights are off? If so, you should fit the cancellers which should have come with the kit. If not you may have a faulty set of ballasts. I have a pre-facelift with HIDs fitted (cancellers fitted & CANBUS Pro ballasts) & get no flicker when on or off, just a nice crisp white light, not the tealights i used to have!

Canbus compatible ballasts will fix the flickering. You will need cancellers too so that the bulb warning won't flash up

Is that the same as a 'Digital Ballast' or is that something different?

All ballasts are digital, but the difference is you'll have normal ballasts (some slimline too), and the canbus ones. Canbus pro ballasts are manufactured to combat canbus issues such as bulb monitoring systems like the Vectra/signum has. Canbus Ballasts stabilize the voltage received (bulbs on the vectra are "pulsed" when switched on, and even when off to ensure there isn't a blown bulb) so they don't flicker during use. A canceller won't simply fix the issue, just turn off the warning on the dash.

I hope i've explained it easily
