cam belt or full kit?

hi all
just bought a signum 2.0 dti elite a fcouple of days ago and as it dont have much history and the mot is due i thought i might as well do the basics so i know its sound.
few Q's really
is it worth while doing a full cam belt kit change or is just the belt?
guna give it a service but is there any thing else to check that isnt always easy to spot ?
if i use 'i' when describing doing the work i mean my local garage!
i can do the basic stuff but anything that cant be done on my gravel driveway gets sorted by the professionals.
its got some good kit on it and as soon as i know its sound i will be happy.

any info is welcome good and bad!
i paid £1800 + he is paying the mot in a week or so, good buy?

It's got a chain not a belt

shows how much research i did into in before i got it.
does that put pressure on to any other engine parts because of the chain?
