had a problem today, car seemed very sluggish from a standing start well below 1000 revs, then i lost throttle control all together for about a min then came back fine, then later car stalled while at a standstill, sounded rough as hell when restarted but now running fine..

what engine i had a similar problem with my 2.2 direct which was fuel pressure regulator. which is a known fault on these engines

If it is Iwould say 3rd injector wiring.

What colour are you plugs on the injectors, blue or yellow?

if they are yellow at the very least the 3rd injector plug and wiring needs to be updated to the blue version

how/where do i check to see if yellow or blue, yes its 150

ok got it.................i got the yellow ones, also had the same problem today on the way home but without the stalling, gave it a good hard thrash on the bypass and fine again, think im going to get rid of it.
