    Default Camshaft housing gasket help plz

    Hey guys
    Probably a stoopid question but..Does the timing belt have to be touched to replace camshaft housing gasket on a vectra 1.9 150

    No - just remove the top cam belt cover for ease

    yep it does and the injectors have to be removed ...so a few other gaskets and seals to buy .. is it leaking bad ? .

    Hey Benny - I didnt think you actually had to rewmove the belt off the top pulleys.. ?
    Agree on injectors for defo ~

    yep take the cam carrier off and the cams come with it .....

    As benny says, the whole cam carrier has to come off meaning the belt first. You'd need to get 4 injector copper washers and then the carrier gasket. All of the injectors, pipes and fuel rail will have to come off too

    If it's not too bad then wait until it's needing a new timing belt but it's alot of hassle to remove.
