Wow - how things have changed during the past 20 years (for the better!!).

Watch this dreadful 1981 TopGear review of the (new) Vauxhall Cavalier. By modern standards, the Cavalier looks truly dated (with huge panel gaps, brittle plastic dashboard, bouncy suspension etc). And the less said about the mind-numbingly boring presenter the better lol. Hats off to Jezza and Co for making motoring TV fun - as it should be!

Ditto! Seeing the good old trusty Cavalier takes me back too - I remember my sales-rep dad getting a new company Cavalier every two years. He had mostly 1.6L models, until he got promoted into management then he got a white Cavalier SRi130. He thought he was the dogs-doodars having that parked on his driveway!! LOL

Working fine for me, although I think I prefer top gear from then, looks like they actually took notice of cars people could afford rather than supercar after supercar..
Never was a fan of the cavalier though..
