Changed the thermostat on 3.2 but...

Hi, i have changed the thermostat on my Vectra 3.2 but did a bit of a booboo! I have managed to crack the aluminium pipe that leads from the thermostat housing to the radiator top hose and also broke one of the clips off the radiator hose that clips onto the aluminium pipe as it was brittle. Anyway i have managed to botch it up for now by using some chemical metal on the aluminium pipe and clipped the rad hose (with the two remaining clips) back into the pipe and cable tied the rad hose to it for good measure, temporary botch i know but its holding so far.

My problem is now that i have been to Vauxhall dealer yesterday and they say the aluminium pipe is now obsolete and the radiator top hose is no longer available in the uk?!! surely that can't be right? I have also tried lots of breaker yards but they don't have anything for it. Ebay has nothing to offer either. I'm a bit stuck now so any advise would be much apreciated as at the moment i'm stuck to local driving incase the temp repair gives up!

Sorry forgot to mention the car is a 54 plate Vectra GSi.
