Alternator grrrr

my alternator has just decided it doesn't want to work... thankfully it packed up just as i went to a garage to confirm it was that on its way out as i had tested it

and was told there is a choice of 5 starting at £90- £250 been quoted worse case £350 with a service and fitting FFS! and to top it off got back to cornwall yesterday and my local dealer down here has gone!.....thankfully as I'm based in Portsmouth there are a few around!

There are loads, depends on your engine and what electrical equipment your car has, but should be easy to pinpoint which one you need. PM me your reg and I'll have a crack at working it out.

final update garage had it in and cost me £406.96 OUCH!!!! thats with a service though could not believe it! on the other hand now its got new filters and oil etc my god its running loverly!
