    Default Tigra Windows

Ok, so many of you know i traded in my 02 Vectra for a shiny red Tigra. All going well except that the passenger window decides to put itself down intermitently. Can anyone shed a bit of light what may be causing this..... It affects the roof mechanism also... Service department in my local dealer said it may just need reprogrammed....

    Any ideas???

Could be dodgy electrical connections inside the window switch, same thing can happen to vectras.

it will be the same as most coupe cabs it will be water getting into the window control module take the door trim off and remove the plug at the window regulator control module and make sure its not rusty and spray some wd40 in it and in the module end see if that cures it

just to check... Is the window going down when you close the boot lid?

Not knowing what Tigra you have bought I cant be 100% sure... But my tigra A (the older one) used to put the window down about an 1/8 when I closed the boot lid... I thought the car was goign mental until I read that the boot being so big in terms of the car displaces so much air than on early examples the front windows had blowen out... I kid you not!

As a fix they introed the window drop thing to prevent this from happening!

That said if its a Tigra B you have (the most recent one) then none of this applies!

Yeah i have a Tigra B. So slightly irrelevant but thanks anyway. I tried braking suddenly last night and there is definitely water in the door..... is it a case of drilling a hole to drain it?? then try the wd40??
