Might sound like a daft question but is there anything I should know when I change my car battery tomorrow the cold weather has killed it, I used to leave the ignition on when I had my vec B so the alarm didn't go off do I need to do this on the C.

Shouldn't need a code for the facelift Phil, I think thats only for half can HU's. But you will have to make the windows re-learn the one button up and down. Just press down, keep its pressed until you hear a beep, then hold up and again wait for the beep. Oh, yea, the same for th sunroof if your lucky enough to have one.

The instructions for disconnecting the battery to prevent the alarm sounding are as follows.

Switch on and off the ignition. Disconnect battery within 15 seconds of doing so.

Best to slacken off the batt terminals first so you're not fighting against time with the spanners.
