    Default Clutch slow to respond

Bit of a strange one this!

Was faffing with the car earlier, when I noticed that if I push the clutch down and quickly go into gear, it grates slightly.

If I put the clutch down, wait a second and then go into gear, there's no problem.

This happens whether I'm shifting into reverse or a forward gear.

    Anyone know why?!

    This one has me stumped!

its a slavw cylinder clutch so the quicker you try to put it in the rougher it will be , waiting a sec will fully engage the clutch this is why its easier .
could be getting worn (clutch) or maybe need bled from system .

    Cheers mate,

I know the clutch is getting to the later stages of it's life (90k on it)

I'll do a bleed later anyway.

Sounds like air in the system, trying bleeding it first.
