Seen this post, ordering mine Monday and I'm a bit hesitant after reading. Any one else had dealings with this company??

Anyone know where I can source a replacement 35w ballast?
The one I received in the kit is defective and it's looking like I'm not getting a replacement from the supplier.

I don't care how good HID-Direct were in the past, my experience is that they're an unprofessional outfit. Very friendly and congenial when selling; clam up and disappear when there's a minor problem.
Avoid them at all costs is my advice.

Used them with no problems 3 times now. Wouldn't say no to using them again!

I've bought a couple of HID kits from them, when a bulb and a ballast went faulty they changed them within days..... maybe I was just lucky....... only problem I had was trying to get through to them on the phone.

ditto mate.....changed my faulty ballast within days but impossible trying to get them on the phone

I get the feeling that HIDS direct is a one man band and that one man is doing lots of different things at the same time. Which would explain the difficulty in contact.

I think you might be right Dave! There recommend everywhere on the forum but dnt fancy getting a faulty ballast and not being able to get replacements. Also its worring how many faulty ballast have been purchased

i got mine from them , then had a faulty ballast too, i contacted them and swapped it that afternoon, i would use them again.

I've used them for my hids and sidelights. They were a little slow in responding to emails asking questions but the advice they gave was spot on and I've had no probs with my kit.
