Used them with no problems 3 times now. Wouldn't say no to using them again!
I've bought a couple of HID kits from them, when a bulb and a ballast went faulty they changed them within days..... maybe I was just lucky....... only problem I had was trying to get through to them on the phone.
I get the feeling that HIDS direct is a one man band and that one man is doing lots of different things at the same time. Which would explain the difficulty in contact.
I think you might be right Dave! There recommend everywhere on the forum but dnt fancy getting a faulty ballast and not being able to get replacements. Also its worring how many faulty ballast have been purchased
i got mine from them , then had a faulty ballast too, i contacted them and swapped it that afternoon, i would use them again.
I've used them for my hids and sidelights. They were a little slow in responding to emails asking questions but the advice they gave was spot on and I've had no probs with my kit.
