Default whats underneath the front grill V?

Anything cool? I really hate the chrome V thingy on the front of my facelift vectra. Im too tight for a irmscher grill, and im wondering what happens if i pull it off. Is there Opel bits? Is it just more grill? Or is there is a big gap?

In behind the V is the opel blitz on the black grille. You can then buy the Opel chrome or colour coded cover and fit the blitz

I've seen a few Vectra with the chrome removed the plain Opel part visible
    Personally it looks awful
If replacing you could opt for the Holden version

This is the one for colour coding, not sure of the chrome one's part number sorry

If you can get one then the Insignia's new style griffin will fit the Opel grille as shown on Mavericks Signum
