Just out of interest, how much does an MOT inspection cost ?
in Sweden, i would pay about GBP 34 every two years, for a similar service.

£40-£60 depending where you go. Thats every year.

I think the first "MOT" here is 2 years after registration, then every second year, and at some point, on cars older than 6 years i think, they want to admire your car every year.

I always use an old boy near me who only does MOT's. he doesn't do any repair or servicing so he isn't looking for work for himself. he charges 50quid but does minor adjustments for that. I can't afford to go to the places that charge 20quid so they can create plenty of work for themselves lol
