I am looking to replace my speakers front and rear.

I have a budget of £100 max so what would you recommend as a straight forward replacement for the OEM ones and I assume I need spacers.

Im sure pioneer do direct replacement speakers for the Vec, and last time someone posted sure they were bang on the £100 mark.

Think these might be the ones.

I also found these ones too.

Has anybody here fitted the yellow ones, and if so how much difference have they made?

As in have they made £200 of a difference to sound quality.

I'd go for the Pioneer ones from Car Audio Direct on Ebay. The others have tweeters built into them which is a bit pointless because the Vectra has them up next to the mirrors. I know Ian has fitted those Pioneer ones before with the seperate tweeters and people have been pleased with them.

Cheers bud, did they fit in ok and what mount did you use?
Just wondered if they caused the door to bulge when fitted?

I used to have a set of Vibe Black Airs in my old Audi (front and rear), the only thing I found though is they didn't seem to have any bass to them. I'm going to be looking at upgrading in the Veccie at some point as I've now fitted my DVD but don't know what to go for now.
