Default Updated speedo-how to clear error codes ?

Just updated the speedo in my 2.2 elegance to a nice SRI one. Mileage is pretty much the same so I was quite happy with it. However...according to the speedo there is a fault with my xenon lights self leveling system...
As my car doesnt have them I presume this error was stored on the previous speedo (as was the service indicator that I have managed to clear)...

How can I clear off this xenon lights error ? Will it go after 40 or so starts, or do I need to remove the battery for an hour or so ?

I also have the eml on, however I have removed the egr and blanked that prior to getting an egr cheater for it in due course

    Cheers

PS If this is in wrong section can a mod move it please ?

the clocks will need to be told via tech2 that it doesnt have xenons. I hope u bought it tech2 cleared or at least have the code for it.
Plasma's Tech2 services are now partially open and able to provide services

Easiest thing to do is take both apart and use the circuit board from your old one with the front and needles of the Sri one. Did the same when I upgraded my old saloon sxi dash. The system then thinks nothing has changed.

If your EGR was working before you got rid of it, just plug it back into the loom and secure it somewhere, this will sort any warning lights and still keeps the EGR blanked, this is mine. The plunger must be able to move freely hence why mines mounted to the side.
