ECU Remap

Hi All!
just joined the forum and would like to say HELLO to all

For my first thread I would like to ask if anyone with a Vectra SRI 2.0t has had their car tuned by Angle Tuning or any company other than BSR?

How long have you been running the BSR firmware update and what power increase have you gained?

I have been quoted 40-45 Bhp increase for £365 and they will come to me!
It seems a bit too good to be true...........

Have a look at this thread. Should give some more info.

I've had it since February. Expect around 30-35bhp gain.

Who was that quote from BTW, and for what? What do they do?, come to you remap it and that's it? i.e. you have no ability to revert to standard easily?

£365 for 40-45bhp sounds pretty good, but it depends what they are doing for that. What is the remap doing?, is it getting most of the power increase from just increasing the turbo boost etc. etc.

The quote is from Angel Tuning who are a mobile tuning company (contact Nigel) and they can restore ECU back to normal if so required. Although, admittedly, not as easy as if you could do it yourself.... I saw these chaps mentioned in a previous thread and thought Ahhh.........

They turn up test drive, plug in, tune up followed by another test drive. From what I gather they basically adjust fuel pressure, boost and timing.

I am still looking into this but if anyone has dealt with these guys before any info would be great.

I'd also be interested to hear if anyone has dealt with them as well - especially with the 2.0T - as I haven't come across anyone else with a 2.0T that has had a remap other than the BSR!

After speaking to Angel Tuning it would appear that they cannot\have not tuned a Z20NET eninge only the Z20LET version in the Astra and Zafira!
Looks like the BSR upgrade at the moment.........

hi, i have a 2ltr t e100 and i contacted angel about 2 weeks ago, they said they could do a 40-45bhp remapp for £300 plus £35 to come to me (scarbough) am going on jollies in two weeks so i am waiting till i get back , but will defo be getting it done for that price!!
