Is this a case of if it looks too good etc etc?

"Respectable condition inside and out" worries me slightly, but maybe hes just being honest

    Ta as always

Looks OK to me - probably about the right price for the mileage (a wee bit high for a 2008)

"Respectable" does sound a bit iffy but the pics look OK

It does seem to have XPII pack.

    I'd say worth a look.

Seems cheaper then alot of others of similar age although slighlty lower mileage.

looks nice yes milage a little high for age but at least you know its been used for going up and down the motorway what these 3.0 are built for
it could have low milage but been used as a town car which isnt that good for a big diesel
only my view if i was looking thats what i would think

Might be swaying towards this http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...1500?logcode=p

Although the distance from me and the tow bar put me off.

Ill probably end up keeping my 2.8, but the amount I get to use it to its full potential means the extra power doesnt really ake up for the extra costs. But at the same time given the low mileage I do, the extra servicing cost of the CDTI may cancel out the savings from the tax and mpg.

I would keep your current car mate, you also have to factor in the cost to change and dealers will try and pump you as soon as you mention 2.8 turbo..

Both nice cars though, possibly the lightening one would be my preference..

I know what you mean mate. I would sell mine privately but I know I would end up regretting it on the odd ocasion I could drive as I wanted

    Exactly my thoughts too.

I'd like a big bigger car now we are soon to be a family of 4 plus my older son sometimes makes 5.

I bought my 2.8T just 7 months ago for £7.5k (2007 car with 33k miles).

I asked dealer for a price for px for larger car the other week & was quoted £3.5k!

My car is absolutely mint & only has 36k miles has all they toys Inc sat nav; that's a lot of car for just £3.5k.
