Default Engine cut out and poor running, Z22SE

My 2.2 sri 03 plate has started running poorly on and off recently and yesterday cut out for no reason and took ages to fire up again.

When i got home from work i plugged in my code reader and 2 codes came up:

    P0171 - System to lean bank 1
P0340 - Camshaft possition sensor A circuit bank 1 or single sensor

Not really sure what these mean or what i need to do to fix the problem? ive reset the codes and the car is running ok so far. A few weeks back i had the coil pack replaced as they thought it was that which was making the car run bad but apparently not!

Any help would be gratly appreciated as i dont want to take the car on a motorway if theres a chance it could cut out again.

it means coil pack is fudged or lack of compression as the ecu uses the coil pack for timing

Another member had the same P0340 code, he replaced the coil pack and nothing, then replaced the plugs and it sorted it mate.

This guy is god when it comes to the Z22SE

    Thanks for the responce,

Same 2 codes came back up today.

As ive already had a new coil pack ill try out some new plugs but im sure they said they replaced them at the same time (probably with some cheap rubbish)

Whats the best make of plugs to get?

For the Z22SE the best ones are actually the factory ones.

Not getting any chain noise that i can hear to be honest but then ive not really been listening for it! ill check in the morning.
Is it a short type of ratttle or will the rattle be there till the engine warms up? or will it be obvious when i start her up?

On the plus side no spanner light or bad running today!
