    Default Key Fob

When we bought our 2004 (53 Plate) Vectra the guy only gave us 1 key. This key is in pretty poor condition.

The rubber buttons have spilt and it's a nightmare to open and close the car as you have to push really hard on the button, and that doesn't always work first time. This is obviously difficult to do when the missus is holding our 7 month old child!

She's just come in fuming about the key fob not working

Anyway, what are my options here? I could buy a new casing from Ebay, but if it's the innards that are malfunctioning then can I buy a new circuit board etc? Is it easy to pair the fob with the car?

    Cheers

If your ever near Portsmouth and have a new key I can program it for you.

If you have contact cleaner spray it into the switch as they get full of crap or can be replaced if you can solder.
