Default Washer Jet Adjustment on 1.9CDTi

Can someone tell me or post me a "How To" on adjusting the front washer jets on my Veccy. The passenger one is fine but the drivers one fire water too low on the screen?

The washer jets on a Vectra (as with most cars) are a metal ball with a hole through the middle, held in a plastic unit.

Get a pin. Stick it in the hole. Move the pin to swivel the ball in the housing. Remove pin. Try washers. Repeat until they're squirting in the place you want them to. You don't need to move them much generally.

Indeed - the Insignia fan shaped spray ones are just the same idea (a metal ball), but the hole is a different shape. So you can't lever it about using the hole, you have to press on specially designed parts of the ball with a tool to move it.

Straight swap anyway if you fancy them. I'd settle for mine not freezing (have got 50/50 diluted screenwash in at the moment, and it was -8 this morning). So I might go for the heated Vectra ones
