    Default Z20NET and a dump-valve

    Hi All,

I have searched the forums and I know it's been covered many times, but I just bought a Vectra 2.0T and it has a dump-valve fitted to it. I want it off, but I imagine the re-circ valve has been blanked off etc., so I was wondering how I can take it back to standard. I think it's a Baileys dump-valve, but I'm not sure, I just don't want the noise!

    Cheers,

you will need to check on the side of the turbo to see if it has been blanked off before proceeding. what year is the car btw? you could probably sell the DV on to another person afterwards to help cover the cost of a replacement recirc if needed..

Having read more about this, I really want this dumpvalve off! How will I be able to tell whether the recirc has been blanked? Which pipe will a dumpvalve typically attached to? Because I was thinking I could buy a pipe to replace the one that the dumpvalve is on, and sell the dumpvalve along with the pipe once it's off.

    Cheers.
