    Default cold weather poor economy

    is this cold weather having an effect on peoples economy mines dropped a bit cdti 150 what about yours

    I would say it does have an impact on fuel economy. Id say its mostly due to an increased load on the electrics. Rear demister used more frequently, interior fan used more causing the engine to warm up more slowly etc.

    mine is down to about 39 to 41 mpg but driving in townish and never gets warm

    mines 26 mpg at the min lol but it is a 2.0T Siggy

    I've got quarter tank left and I've done 400 miles. I usually get 600-650, I can't see that happening.
    I'm not sure whether it's something to do with the DMF, clutch and slave getting replaced last week, or as you suggest, the cold whether.

    Something very odd happened when the DMF was replaced, the headlights became as bright as I would expect from a normal car. In other words, whatever they did fixed the headlights pmsl
