I read somewhere that Irmscher springs and Eibachs are the same..

Is that true, do eibach make the springs for Irmscher?

Reason I ask it i've kept the eibach that I had for my dti and made the front end sit too high. As the cdti weighs the same as the dti the eibachs will sit the same.

I had a lucky break on gumtree over the weekend...2 brand new irmscher front springs were listed in dundee, from the numbers i've found they are 1060kg springs (meaning they are the weight down from my eibach springs) and the best bit was they cost me......40quid!

Was gonna fit them on the front and get the back eibachs re-powdercoated red to match.

Will everything be ok with that setup?

yes m8 irmscher spring kits are eibachs,they colour them red for irmscher and put their name on them
