    Default Airguns...

I hate it when garages rattle your studs onto your car....
usually air guns make a click when the nuts are on tight enough which tells the guy to stop. Did they? nooooooo. some bright spark decided to airgun the Shhhh out of my alloys.

Basically I went to look at my wheel because I think i have a sticky caliper piston and i literally had to jump on my tyre iron to get the nuts to crack. And i'm not a small lad, 17 odd stone and I had to put some effort into gettin them to come loose.... Winds me up when ppl do that. I then had to kick my tyre to ****** to get it off the hub where it had been on so tight lol.....

Asked my old man where he got the tyres fitted. give u one guess... cant get thicker than...

we had the same problem when fitting my winter wheels but the garage i used does have a torque wrench built into his airgun so now they should be fine.]

i guess its all down to the cost of the airguns.

i am yet to be beaten by a wheel nut though, a 2 foot breaker bar is what you need, if i stand on the end that's a LOT of torque!

The kwikfit's I've been to use a torque wrench and they are generally checked again by someone else and signed off.
