    Default Radio Reception Part 2

I know I asked before about how good the radio reception is on the Signum (CDR2005) but today it would not even pick up Radio 1 and was hissing and crackling. I tried MW on Saturday to get the soccer etc and all I could get was very poor reception and engine noise ie increase revs noise gets louder.

Does the aerial have any baring on the reception ie does it have a booster as I know it seems to have wire wrapped round it (bad explanation I know) but wondered if changing it would clear problems.

If not would this sort of thing be covered under Network Q ?

    Thanks

The ariel is amplified , the amp is in the base of the ariel , on older vauxhalls there was a feed up to it by a blue wire with a red trace IIRC , the latest ones are i think like the VAG stuff , 12v feed up the centre core of the ariel wire

So its worth trying on Network Q?

Or worth trying a new aerial mast bit as girlfriend has company Corsa I could see if the aerial makes any difference.

If it's that bad m8, I'd have thought you may as well make use of Net Q.
