Default How do you set the clock

Hi all, ive got a x-plod v6 cdti 2007 which im in the middle of trying to sell but because its ex jack n jill it has a standard single din after market alpine head unit but i cant seem to set the time on the info screen.
Had plenty of veccy's b4 but can't remember if the car needs the original stereo to set it.
    Can anyone shine a light.

Can you not do it by pressing in the left scroll wheel on the steering wheel, which should then access the settings menu?

On some cars you can amend the time by using the buttons , but majority of cars need the original stereo in the car

It will only do that if you have a CD30, CDC40, CD70 Navi etc, when you have the radio set to a BBC channel or any channel, which regularly sends out the "radio controlled clock" or "atomic clock" signal.

Not wanting to offend here, but I assume that your display is a full screen, not a half screen with the clock buttons on the bezel.

If you dont have an original headunit to install to reset the clock, how friendly are you with your local VX dealer?

I had the same problem when i had an Alpine unit installed. A quick trip to my local VX garage, and they would change it using Tech2 for me at no charge. Its a 30 second job.

THe worst they can say is "That will cost....."
