    Default suspension URGENT

    hi
i drive a vectra-c 3.2 elite 03 plate, two things really has this model got sports suspension ? and i have just bought some kyb coilsprings all round but the shape of them are different to the ones that are on, the new ones have one end of the coils closer together than the other end so which way up do they go closer coils to the top or bottom ????

No you dont have sport suspension.

Sri, Design and GSi had sport suspension off the top of my head.

normally the spring will be slightly smaller on end(where the coils finish) and you should check on your old ones as to which end goes where or they wont fit in the spring seats properly, but normally the tighter coilers are at the top and there should be a very noticeable difference between front and rear springs, rears being shorter

The coils being closer together on one part of the spring means they're "progressive" springs, i.e. the spring-rate differs across the spring; this is part of the design and intentional. By the way, fit the tightly-coiled part at the top, to protect against stones getting trapped between the tight coils.

If your dropping your elite by changing springs. You may need to change your elite shocks at the same time!
I could be wrong though. ????
