    Crack them off whilst cranking.

Be careful as common rail pressure is around 1400 bar.

If you havent got fuel their you need to go to pump and see if that's putting out fuel.

Check all the electrical connections on fuel pump, as maybe disconnected and causing fuel cut off.

( usually a ball and spring, in a valve lifted from seat due to electric current)

You've changed the rail so you have cleared the system of air i presume, there's a sensor on the rear of the high pressure pump, carefully remove it & swill/clean in a tub of 2/3'' of brake cleaner, its seals can be re-used (lightly lubricate with oil to re-insert), if you have not all ready re-clean the rail sensor/s in the same way, Ive had all of the above off & including changing injectors then just turn ignition on to flush the air so if the system has been bled & you've changed these parts, have the injectors been cleaned/refurbed only or swapped, injector codes & pump codes may have to be changed to remedy, its messy but you'll have to crank well to see if there's good pressure at each injector, if there is fuel there i'm not sure if there's any fuses regarding the power to injectors, I presume the tank pump is fine, you should hear the fuel/air being pushed around after replacing these parts when the ignition is first turned on, if not the tank pump cant be working 100%.

i have changed the injectors fuel pump and fuel rail all from a working car, there is plenty of fuel coming through i took the pipe coming from the tank to the filter off and it was like a jet wash!! all over my clothes and engine lol

i was going to try the fuel return valve thats bolted to the inlet.

The ECU needs to have the injector codes programmed in.

What was the original diagnosis to cause you to change the fuelling system ?

    Just some coding info.

We have to code in new injectors due to them being ‘flow rated’ during manufacture and have very fine tolerances. Injectors can pass as little as 13mm of fuel – to get an idea of how small that is, a raindrop is about 303 mm. Of course, flow rating is nothing new.

Contrary to popular belief, a car should still start even if the injectors are not coded. However, it will smoke and run rough until the ECU ‘adapts’, which could take a very long time. If all injectors are re-coded, the MIL will go out. Once the re-coding has been completed, the vehicle may be noisier than before. Sometimes, the pilot injection will have been turned off while the vehicle re-adapts to the new settings. To complete the re-adaption the vehicle has to be driven. Once driven, the vehicle will be smoother and pilot injection will be re-initiated.
