    Default Facelift 2.0t owners advice

I'm going to look at a Vectra 2.0 turbo tmrw. is got about 30k on the clock 2008 model. Take it for a test drive etc.
What should I be lookin out for on these engines? I know the usual Vectra things to keep an eye on but is there anything specific with these engines that I should be paying attention for?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Their pretty much bullet proof mate. Check for any chain rattle on start up. just the normal checks that you would do on any car that your looking to buy.

My other car. 1972 1641cc slammed beetle. On the road finally!!

Vehicle : Vectra and a Signum

Trim : top of the line in both

    Engine : Z18XE,Z19DTH,Z20NET

    Year : 2006

    Default

you will find it a great car, the engine in that year will have the latest components that were not fitted to earlier models and will be a good one to get..

What trimm level is it? Design, Elite etc

Great engines mate! Had mine for a year now and it's been faultless, I had a rattle on startup so replaced the timing chain but other than that the engines been great. I decided to go for the 2.0T because it was pretty much the most reliable engine on here as you don't hear of many problems with them.

With it been a turbo and chain driven oil changes are VERY important so make sure it's got full service history, and the correct oil was used(5-30)

If it's a good one you won't be disappointed

No complaints here and mines running higher than standard power.

It may have a little rattle when you start it up, just check this dies down after 1/2 seconds. If not might be chain, but at 30k it should last many years to come. Mines hitting 66k now and no rattles from the engine.
