They are not expensive to buy. Halfords sell one for about £10.

Depends what you are trying to solder, depends on the size tip you need.

Lifes hard when you aint got a job. Besides I would only use it the once then it would sit in the back of me cupboard collecting dust. And yes you can take my gf lol

This soldering iron i found in a scrap yard it's a Weller 25w done me proud was second hand and used often.

No need to buy new.
