    Default Washer fluid leaking

Not sure if ive posted this on the right part of the forum.
But anyways my vec (pre facelift) has developed a washer fluid leak.
It appears to be coming from underneath the fluid bottle somewhere.
It started the other day then stopped even after topping it up again.
Looking this morning & theres 2 icicles haninging underneath the car
Is there anything common that fails?
& looking at it the bumper has to come off to get near it. Am i correct?
If so any linkys on pre facelift bumper removal would be greatly appreciated

Did you fill it right up to the top? The rubber grommet around the filler neck can leak. Reduce the amount of fluid in the tank and see if it still leaks. Other issues could be the level sensor grommet is leaking or the tank has cracked if the washer fluid has frozen.

You can get access from under neath - so no the bumper does not have to be removed.
The washer pump slide up and out of the bottle. The pump has the valves on the side and pipes to the rear or front windscreen washers. This simply pulls off the pump and pushes back on. Maybe leaking from the grommet into the bottle (which is also the filter for any crud in the bottle)

There was no need to remove the inner wheel arch cover on my car, I just reached up from in front of the car.

The pump / valve / diverter assembly on my car is different to that in the how 2.
