    Default Wipers + luck required

    Hi all,
Well that time is upon me, bought pre face C, cat C write off, had a go at sorting headlights - thanks to a very good thread on here, then realised that one h/l leaks water and the other was completely smashed at the back where a rather large impact occurred. Ordered new lights, they arrived within 2 days only to find out that one of those was broken where the motor attaches - hopefully now fixed as the supplier wouldn't supply a new one overnight!!!! Bought battery and this will be fitted tomorrow along with lights, tyres and
MOT on Saturday morning then the VIC on Monday!!!
Most of the things done on the car have been after work in the dark, so dont think I've done too bad for a Vec novice.

I do, however, have a question - what wiper blade fits the rear of a 2003 hatch??
Been to Halfrauds and checked the Bosch website and neither of them list a blade for it - can anybody help??

    Cheers all

    Tony

It's a 16" - I bought one of these a couple of years ago, although they do others: http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/vauxhal...n-wiper-blade/

Quite a good site - you can enter car model etc and you get the choice.

Hi all, sorry for the delay in responding but for some reason couldn't post a reply the other day.
It was just the blade as the arm was still attached to the car, this is now all sorted - cheers for the help, always appreciated.
Had the VIC done today - in and out in about 10 mins and all good, just got to wait for the DVLA to process the cert and I can hopefully get tax by the end of the week. The car drives really well and doesn't pull to either side when braking, drives straight so I'm real pleased - could've ended up with a cut and shut bucket!!
No doubt I'll be on here bugging you all for advise such as "my heater only works on number 4" - already checked this and its the resistor at fault.
Thanks for all the help now and in future.

    Tony
