Brakes locking up!

Alright Ladies/Gents right tonight i had a near miss almost ended up in the back of someone. Basically when i put my foot on the brake pedel my brakes locked up as if the brake had got stuck on and i could feel and hear a grinding coming from them any ideas? the cars only done 15k miles and the front tyres are only a few weeks old.

dont know mate but i wouldn't risk it get yourself back to the dealers.

Its just not slowing down but it only happens now and again hence why i thought the pads wernt shot

Not sure of this, but could be something to do with ABS, but one thing for sure needs sorted ASAP Mark!!

I get no warning lights coming on and no indication untill i brake buy then obviously it will be to late! could the brake fluid have air in it?

If there was air in system the pedal would be spongy and brakes soft

Not that then as there fine most of the time!

Isn't there a problem with the Insignias disks? Bad scoring or something? It is an Insignia you have isnt it???

Sorry mate I dont know. I belive VX will replace affected disks though. Mark the Cabby set up insignia-a.com, he might be worth a PM.
