Default Intercooler on its way out?

What do you think? does it look like it's sagging to you? Maybe oil on the aircon rad?

looks like it is sagging as you say, it probably has some crap build up in the cores.. You can take it off and flush it out and carry on reusing it or replace it with a new one for about £120 ish.. Your car will feel better with a new one..

I would check for oil in the intercooler and leaks when you take it off, if nothing is found continue to use it.

    Default

Mine has a horrendous mark on the offside, from impact damage in 2007
It was inspected and was advised just to make a visual inspection each week
It's been through five services like that, not even a remark or comment made since

It is vastly more open to the elements than the radiator, but seems to be built to take the abuse
Personally it is fairly well shielded and you can see how much surface area has effect if you spray a jet wash at it from about 5 metres away through the lower grille

If it isn't leaking then its working fine. I'd leave it but put the money aside for a replacement if its ever needed.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
