fault code

hi ive got a vectra c sri 150 cdti 06 reg and engine light come on and the fault code is p0650, can anyone help. also the blowers stopped working when this come on. is this normal thanks in advance

P0650 Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Control Circuit Malfunction.

Odd that the blower stops too....

I have never seen this FC come up. If it is not battery voltage related, MIL Bulb, wiring or then I would 'guess' at a new ECU.

Fuses? Spike from alt may have knocked some out?

heard possable dry joint will have to check it all out on the wkend

Have you done the easy stuff first?

a) Pull the battery for an hour or so - often clears silly electronic glitches.

b) Clear the DTC's, and see if that sorts the problem.

Hi robsey no not done that mute give that a go later I Persume clear dtc u mean clea the codes? If so yeah done that last night but come straight bk on. Thanks everyone for advice any more wud be very grateful
