    Default Rear Internal Courtesy Light

    Hi all,

I'm planning to do the rear passenger courtacy lnternal light modification, but for those of you that have already done it, a quick question....

When you open the doors with the remote locking key, does the rear passenger internal light fade up to the 'On' position, just like the front one does ?

Or does it just remain 'Off' until someone manually turns it on.

Or does it do all of the above, depending which option you switch it too.

    Thanks

Thanks AJA... I've just been reading the 'How To' thread and it appears I might not have the wiring built in ??? - I'll go and check now....

Mine fades up and down and also comes on when you turn the front one on, was standard on the car. I think facelifts may have a different roof harness so best to check the wiring is actually there before buying the part.

can't believe you're only doing this now, this is normally one of the first mods people do.

but then again, you don't quite fall into that category of normal

hows the VXRD Evolution fleeces coming along?

Nope.... I was just checking for the wiring... to see if it was there and I found some tightly stuck down ribbon wiring, which had been double folded...

Whilst trying to free the ribbon from the grip of this double sided tape, I accidently ripped through one of the ribbons

So I thought "**** It"... and came back in vowing never to mess with the car again

EDIT: **** knows what I've broke.... does anyone know what that ribbon wiring does anyway ??
