Default Interior lights and ultrasonics driving me mad.

    Hi all.

A great forum from what I can see.

Can anyone help. I've been advised elsewhere that I may have a multi timer issue

My interior lights don't work, despite the dashboard door minder telling me the doors are open, I have measured 12v at the bulb holders but insufficient current to illuminate a bulb. Also the ultrasonic sensors don't work. All this in the same area points to something affecting both.

Does anyone think this diagnosis is right, if so is there a multi timer on a pre facelift c 2003, if so where can I find the it on the car. And is anyone braking one and have this part for sale?.

    Thanks

Have you disturbed the interior light unit, or even the ultra sonic panel in-front of it.?

I know that the ultrasonic connector has been known to come loose.

Check that the connector is fitted securely. - Whilst you are there, check the connectors for the interior light.

The light unit, hmm have you checked fuse F12? (Overload protection fuse) at the passenger end of the dash panel.. you will need to open the passenger door tosee the panel cover with an airbag sticker on it.
