Just short the pins out on the plug mate
just fill the water bottle lol
Why would you want to?
or put some tape around the float to make it think the tank it full.
sorted it earthed with wire thanks for the advise
For information -
MOST vectra's will have the connector for the sensor tied up near to the washer pump in the space in-front of the near-side front wheel arch.
If you DO have this plug, then simply link the two pins together.
If you do NOT have this plug, then you will need to find pin 14 in connector number 2 of the under-hood fuse box. You will then need to run a wire from here, to a good clean earth point.
As mentioned, I assume that he wants the bulb check facility, but cannot be bothered to mess about fitting a fluid level sensor.
Or buy the sensor and fit it, it's only a few quid

Normal Vx price is about £25 for the sender / switch, and the rubber grommet / seal is about £3
Although youu can get the senders for less off ebay - but these do not come with the grommet / seal.
Oh and yes, you will need to drill a big hole in the side of your washer bottle... approx 22mm diameter but I do not know exactly, as it is 12 months since I did the wife's.
