headunit pairing

i might be getting my hands on a CDR2005, problem being it has no code, is there a fix for this does anyone know. Also I've got a GID that I planned fitting instead of my TID is this going to be possible with a OEM stereo from another car or just cause more issues?

the display is paired to the head unit via the security code on your car pass and needs to be divorced from the original car then married using tech 2

If you get a unit that's not been divorced ( like i did ) then there is a company on ebay that charge £45 inc return shipping that will wipe the head unit and put it into delivery mode so it can be paired using tech 2

Cheers mate that does help but not really the answer i wanted! Will it work at all and I'll just loose the station on TID GID, or is it a non starter.
