    Default Screen Advice

Ok, I'm going to have to get my windscreen done, can anyone tell me what the difference is between a normal one and a heat reflective one, i.e should I have the HR one and is it suitable for my rain sensored Design model, being a pre-facelift.

And Vx never came back to me on this btw, so thats one black mark agains't them right now, I'll get over it but just an e.mail to say...I'm sorry sir there are too many variables as to the cause of it would have been nice.

If the car came with a non reflective screen, then you'll have to have the same again.. the solar sensor on the top of the dashboard will be calibrated for that particular type of screen...So you'll have to get an identical replacement.

the difference between them is literally in their names, the only aesthetic difference is that the heat reflective one has a blue tinge to them, like you commonly see them on renault.

i take it you haven't got a HR screen already, but as long as you don't have climate control you should be fine to install one, although there was a thread on here last week saying that the fitters have been instructed not to replace a normal screen with a HR one.

there are different sunstrips for the two aswell, but i don't know the differences between the two.

EDIT: Quick fingered Mark does it again!
