    Default wiring help please

Right i hope someone on here can help me. My other half as a megane (i know) with a problem with the windows (drivers) easy way to say it is it as two wires going into the motor for it to go up and down. But it will only go up, thats until you change the wires over then it will go down. I want to know if i get buy something i could put the wires in first before it goes to the motor so i can put it in the door storage part then when i want it to go up i can press the control and it goes up, but then when i want it to go down i can press a switch and somehow it changes the wires over and lets the window go down. I hope you lot know what i'm talking about. Just so i don't need to have wires in the car that i have to keep changing over everytime i want it to go down.

The only way I can think of would be to knock something up with relays as it will also have to handle the power.

Might be easier, just to get the problem fixed as it sounds like it may be the switch or a relay that reverses the power/earth.

Cheers the switch is ok has i have tried three now and it still does the same. When we got the car the guy before had cut the wires and put two new wires to one side and two to the other then put them though the door card into the car with plugs on the end so he could swap them over to make it go up and down. Just thought there might be something out there, were i could do the same as the last guy but instead of having to change the wires over i could just press a button and somehow it would change the wires over for me

Why dont you compare the wiring with the other side? Like I said, it may be as simple as needind a new relay/controller?

Do you mean glued in? Or do they have tabs on them that need to be pushed in to release the relay? Sometimes, you can only release a relay be turning the panel upside down.

You simply want something that swops the polarity of the wires, depending on which way the switch is.

    This may do it?
