    Default Glow Plugs

    I have a pre-facelift 2004 Vectra SRI 150 CDTI.

I've had my vectra since July 2011, after reading up on this forum I've noticed that I may need to change my glow plugs as it hesitates to start especially when its cold. It also seems to have a rough idle when its cold.

I've read the How 2 on changing the glow plugs and can give it ago myself as I find most garages tend to rip you off. I dont have much mechanical knowledge but I am quite handy if i Know what i'm doing.

As the weather is getting colder I think will give it ago within the next week.

I have had a friend enquire price wise to find me some glow plugs, the best he came back with was £35, thats at trade i think they were NGK. However I've looked on ebay and found some at £30.28 delivered. Has anyone used the below, if so are they any good?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-A...item45fe7dd9cf

Any help with reagrds to glow plugs and changing of would be greatly apprecaited.

    Thanks in advance.

I bought some Bosch for mine as I was advised to stick with Bosch or NGK by a VX Mechanic, since I fitted them the starting has been loads better when really cold so it was worth doing.
