last time i did this, i made a little cup out of bluetack and put it under each gp.

then i filled the cup with wd40 and left it to soak overnight... yes the wd40 destroyed the bluetack but it sat there for enough time to give the gp a good soak to ease them out.

Ouch, metal splinter in eye, had one a few years ago, really odd feling when they freeze your eye and start to scrape it. The anaesthetic wears off in a couple of hours, take some painkillers before it does!

The eye is a quick healer, so should be good in a few days, I bought some protective glasses after that.

Yea - and don't drive to the hospital - I had a strand of steel wool in my eye - rode to the hospital on a 650 Honda to have it sorted - they put those drops in that anaesthetise your eyes and I couldn't focus my eyes for the next 6 hours. Had to sit around until I could see again and go home.

I was on my motorbike!! I had been cleaning the brakes with a wire wheel brush, had it in all weekend and finally decided on the following Monday that there was something not quite right?

    I rode home quite quickly!!
