    does the rear seats from an estate fit into a hatch???

    In a word, no. Have a read of IanHighlander's thread about fitting leather covers from a hatch onto his estate rear seats and you'll see the difference.

    The backs are a straight swap, perfect fit, identical, no modification needed. The bench however is COMPLETELY different as are the bolsters (and don't forget the door cards are different sizes too if you're doing a full interior).

    so the back upright is basically plug and play........its the bench ( seated part ) thats different then???

    im not changing the door cards yet................lol.

    so.........the rear bench from the estate is smaller than the hatch.......would the hatch bench look stupid covered with the smaller estate half leather part???

    it would look tight eh???

    The estate bench is bigger than the hatch one (it's longer and deeper), that's why I had to stretch the hatchback one to get it over my estate bench
