Upgrading the clock for full screen type?

Can I replace the standard screen that shows time, temp and radio station for full screen that tells you mpg etc? Or is there extra things I need to do before I have one installed??

Thank u for that but my car is a 2006 with scroll and 2 buttons on each side and is different to older vectra c,

It can be done but providing your car has all the sensors needed...Remember if buying a screen from the likes of Ebay that the screen must be divorced from donor car then a tech2 session..Or another alternative would be to either purchase a full cd30/70 headunit and screen already paired...I`m no techy but i`m sure someone with more knowhow will get you going...HTH

I bought a CD30 and display off fleabay fitted them and they work perfectly
haven't needed to activate anything.
The only thing i've got to do is fit a washer level sensor.
Took 20 mins to fit.

that is what i am looking for. the cd30 and display that are linked. is it just cd30 or cd70? what the differences?

Is it easy to change over for the screen and audio?
partner's dad reckons our car cant have that. but i think he is wrong. am i right or wrong?
