Vehicle : Mk1 renault scenic... I know I know but it drives

    Trim : Basic

    Engine : 1.6 16v

    Year : 2003

    Default Sidelights as DRL's??

Ano thiers options in the UEC for turning on drls
But I can't seem to get just side lights on. Has anyone else managed to?

    Here's what I get:
Version 1= ign on- side lights on, eng on- dipped lights
Version 2= ign on- nothing, engine on- dipped on
    Version 3= nothing on
Version 4 = fogs on. My car doesnt seem to like this option as I had to disconnect the batt to clear them as they stayed on permantly

Any way around just having sidelight?

Had exactly the same results with mine when I tried it. Wanted sidelights on as DRL's set it to that and they came on great with ignition but the second you start the car the dipped beam came on, no good. Reset it back to none in the end (after having the same problem as you did with option 4) and just drive around with sidelights on manually all the time now.

Yeah I drive around with them on already. It's more because it's got LEDs so unless their on they flash. So was thinking if could set the. As drls it would be fine for MOT.

Did you have the sane were nothing happens when you tried version 3?
Wonder what makes the fogs not like being used aswel?

I'm not sure I'd want them as it really gets to me when people have fog lights on lol
Was just curios as why fogs stayed on. All other options you turn them off and it's fine yet fogs stayed on until I disconnected batt
