Default Heater fixed, warm at last :-)

Well finally have nice warm heat again with advice from Ste took the glove box out found the red lever that was supposed to move the flap to allow the hot air to come out, it was stiff so i moved it while turning the dial sparayed a bit of WD40 on it and hey presto everything working as it should again. Some pics incase anyone else has the same problem.
Take the glove box out and you can see the red lever attached to the black resister box sxcrewed on the side of the heater by 2 x screws

With the ignition on i gave it a little help to move.

Would this work the other way round? i have the same problem, but cant get cold air. When its on blue, its the same output of heat coming out as it is red.

Its worth a try the red lever should move when you turn the dial, try taking out the glove box put the ignition on and turn your dial from blue to red id the lever doesnt move then its stuck and just do what i did, youve nothing to lose and if it does work youve just saved a few quid and taking out the glove box only takes a couple of minutes you might have to take the side panel off as well like i did but only do that if the lever doesnt move as that will make it easier to get to the rest of it.

It's the panel thats next to the centre console held on by 3 screws once the panel is off you can see the black motor that the red lever is attached to.
