Default Gsi oil filler neck seal

Has anyone changed the seal on the neck of the oil filler on the Gsi? I've noticed a small leak that is dripping down onto the heat shield.

take the whole plastic neck off and replace the cap in the hole 30 second job

i had a scary moment at the start of the mth thought my head gasket had gone as the filler neck was all mayo inside everyone on here told me to take off the plastic pipe and it stops it
so if yours is leaking do the same its only needed to fill it with oil without spilling it

think the cap seals it give the cap a clean inside and see if theirs a rubber on it when i took my filler pipe off their was no rubbers on it or the engine so it must be on the cap

Mine was gunked up too, paniced, read the info on here. Took the pipe out, binned it and replaced the cap in the hole. Job done
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
